The MIND Diet
This Tasteful Tuesday will feature the “MIND Diet” presented by Dr. Jonathan Deutsch, Drexel Food Core Lab & Dr. Brandy-Joe Milliron from the Nutrition Services Department.

Session Description: The MIND Diet is a strategy that can help students improve their dietary intake and maintain alert and focused thinking. The MIND diet is a combination of the Mediterranean and DASH diets and includes many nutrients that promote good brain health, possibly by reducing oxidative stress and inflammation.

Participants will learn about the general principles of the MIND Diet and learn how to create and identify meals, and create daily menus based on these recommendations.
